Gelo is the delicate snowflake friend of Jolie Nuage. When the sky grows quiet and the air turns very cold, Gelo begins to form high among the clouds.

 

The name Gelo was inspired by the French word “gel,” meaning frost. Just like the word suggests, Gelo is born when tiny droplets in the clouds freeze into sparkling ice crystals.

 

Gentle and peaceful, Gelo loves drifting slowly through the winter sky. As Gelo floats down, the world becomes soft and peaceful, covering trees, rooftops, and fields with a blanket of snow.

 

Although quiet, Gelo has a kind and thoughtful heart. Gelo enjoys bringing a calm beauty to the sky and loves seeing children smile when the first snow of winter begins to fall.
